After graduating from Hillsdale College, Genavieve began her career as a journalist at a local television news station in Lansing. Her path later led her to the University of Toledo College of Law, where she honed her investigative skills and developed a passion for uncovering fraud and abuse. As a member of Law Review, she refined her ability to craft compelling legal arguments, blending exceptional legal writing with the latest case law to create well-grounded and effective arguments.
Genavieve represents insurers of all sizes across Michigan, handling matters ranging from claim inception to trial. She has significant experience in cases involving SIU and assigned claims, as well as catastrophic claims requiring meticulous attention. Her expertise also extends to representing third-party insureds, where she has secured numerous victories of threshold motions, leading to the dismissal of unwarranted claims against innocent parties.
While Genavieve is always available to her clients, she also channels her competitive spirit into other pursuits. She enjoys playing softball, golf, pickleball, and indoor cycling. Originally from the Chicagoland area, she remains a dedicated Chicago Cubs fan while also embracing her newfound love for the Detroit Lions. Genavieve is married to her husband Garet, a former college football player, and together they are the proud “parents” of their rescue dog, Jasmine.
